In the past decade there has been tremendous progress in agricultural technology. Electronics, computerization, automation, and even satellite navigation systems entered to agricultural machinery. Agricultural machinery and equipment are becoming more modern and complicated but also more expensive.

To properly handle them and effectively use, farmers need new knowledge, which does not always have, because information made before, are a bit outdated and not up to date. For such an important progress should therefore follow training. And that was the main premise appointment in 2006 with the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Agricultural Advisory Centre in MinikowoAgricultural Technology Center.

The main objective of the Center is to organize training courses for farmers on modern agricultural technology, which have the possibility of a deeper look at the latest developments. Classes are workshops for groups of not more than 30 – 40 people.

The idea of workshops is that each of the participants during a one-day training alone could test different machines and tractors. During the classes there is only a few of theory and a lot of practice. The participants are professionals and representatives of manufacturers who teach and answer questions asked by farmers. So far benefited from training nearly 600 people. The surveys indicate that farmers are satisfied with the trainings.

This is confirmed by the opinion of one of the participants:

„I am pleasantly surprised by the totality of training, although it was more directed to those who are interested in buying machines, but among the traders were also people who had a lot of knowledge in mechanics. I’ll have a lot to tell my friends and found the day very successful. Many thanks to the organizers for the fact that I could participate in such a pleasant training and I’m looking forward to the next. Let regret those who did not make it.”

Welcome to the next training.
